Inventory Management: What’s Hot Now
The summer buzz has been hot, and it’s not cooling down as we head into Fall at SalesWarp! Our collaboration with client Zumiez was highlighted by several industry trade publications including RIS News, NRF, and Chain Store Age. In June, we increased our industry reach by exhibiting, hosting the mCommerce Mixer with Shopgate, and speaking at the Internet Retailer Conference and Exhibition (IRCE). Also, last week, our CEO David Potts published an article “Using Distributed Order Management to Grow Sales” for Innovative Retail Technologies Magazine and participated in BigCommerce’s Retail Roundup on how to execute a successful holiday marketing campaign.
IRCE16 Speech Recap
For those who didn’t attend #IRCE16, we wanted to give you a quick recap of our speaking engagement experience. David Potts, CEO of SalesWarp, spoke with Rory Hudson, VP of IT at Zumiez, on “Speedy Store-Based Fulfillment.” Both men told the story of how the Zumiez/SalesWarp partnership evolved. It was a compelling case study, especially given how much work was done in such a short period of time! Funny anecdote: These two guys met two years ago at IRCE. Rory approached David the last hour on the last day of the show! I guess that proves that the show ain’t over, til it’s over.
Zumiez is a leading specialty retailer of apparel, footwear, and accessories for young men and women. They wanted a technology partner who understood their vision and culture. To meet its goal of better serving its customers, Zumiez needed a technology solution to leverage its store footprint for fulfillment needs, as well as a solution that could be implemented quickly.
